Ingredients :
2 ripe tomatoes, chopped
2 cups tamarind water
1 tsp mustard seeds
1 tsp ghee
2 garlic cloves (crushed)
1 tbsp Chotus Rasam Podi
Salt and black pepper to taste
Fresh coriander for garnish
Instructions :
Make the Base: In a saucepan, add tamarind water, tomatoes, salt, and Chotus Rasam Podi.
Simmer: Let the mixture boil for 10 minutes until tomatoes soften.
Tempering: In ghee, crackle mustard seeds and sauté garlic till golden. Add to the rasam.
Finish: Add freshly ground pepper and coriander. Simmer briefly.
